Limitronic was established in 1987 as a company dedicated to industrial process automation and rapidly specializing in product coding and identification.
Offering track and trace solutions in production lines, Limitronic added value to customers’ product.
First turnkey solutions included coding and marking of the product throughout the entire production line. This comprises primary product coding using CIJ technology, secondary box coding using DOD printers, pallet labelling using Print & Apply machinery, and product location in warehouse using RF systems. Limitronic became international distributor of all the hardware involved.
Then, in 1999, due to the specific requirements in secondary packaging printing and the own needs of machine integration Limitronic decides to start manufacturing its own coding printer. This is how the Limitag® serie of printers is born.
A high-resolution inkjet printer with almost no maintenance, robust, simple and intuitive. It complies with the GS-1 standards and its open connectivity enables very easy integrations with most working environments.
